Beverly Berg has worked with children and adults, both individuals and couples, in a full psychotherapy practice for the last 30 years. For over 25 years, she has been active in the field of chemical dependency as a marriage, family, and child therapist. She has served as a consultant/trainer in the areas of alcoholism treatment, hypnosis, and meditation. Beverly’s work is founded on the integration of psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Beverly created the Conscious Couples Recovery Workshop for sober individuals and their partners. This workshop is designed to bridge the divide between partners, whether one or both of the partners are in recovery.
Beverly’s professional affiliations include memberships with the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy as a Diplomat in Professional Counseling; American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists; California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and American Psychotherapy Association, as a Certified Relationship Specialist; and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Institute, Inc., advanced level.

Ingrid Mathieu has a Master’s Degree in transpersonal psychology and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Her diverse clinical background includes working with dual-diagnosed recovering alcoholics, addicts, and co-dependents. She worked at Creative Care in Malibu, a prestigious residential rehabilitation center, and at Adolescent Counseling Services Substance Abuse Treatment Program in Palo Alto, California. She is currently in private practice in Beverly Hills, California, where she specializes in treating individuals who are in recovery.
Ingrid’s passion for chemical dependency treatment lead her to conduct research on the topic of spiritual bypass as it relates to 12-step recovery. She is currently writing a book based on this research, to be published by Hazelden in 2011.
Ingrid partnered with Beverly Berg, Ph.D., in 2009, as a co-facilitator of the Conscious Couples Recovery Workshop, and continues to run this workshop year-round.
